27 October 2022 // Causal Cell Dynamics First Symposium 2022 (hybrid)

The Helmholtz/Mila collaboration on Learning Causal Models in Single Cell Dynamics (CausalCellDynamics) will be launched officially on October 27th, 2022.

Join us and learn from our current & future research with student and postdoc presentations from:
- Hue (Emy) Yu (Marsico's group, Munich),
- Hananeh Aliee (Theis's group, Munich),
- Alexander Tong (Bengio group, Montreal) and
- Elisabeth Ailer (Kilbertus's group, Munich).

Opening by keynotes session from Ottmar Wiestler (President, Helmholtz Association), Yoshua Bengio (Scientific Director, Mila) and Fabian Theis (Director, Institute for Computational Biology and Helmholtz AI).

29 APRIL 2021 // Helmholtz International Lab Kick-off meeting (online)

The Helmholtz International Lab 'Causal Cell Dynamics' organizes a first kick-off meeting on Thursday, April 29, starting at 4 pm CEST / 10 am EDT.

It will start with an open session where Fabian Theis will present the mission, content and goals of ‘Causal Cell Dynamics’ followed by presentations of current research & future plans at Mila (by Yoshua Bengio) and at ICB/ Helmholtz AI (by Fabian Theis). Bernhard Schölkopf will join the session to talk about causal inference within 'Causal Cell Dynamics'. Afterwards, the 'Causal Cell Dynamics' partners will privately discuss their future plans.
